Friends Of The Petaluma River

Friends of the Petaluma River celebrates the Petaluma River through education and stewardship, working to make it a community park, vital ecosystem, outdoor classroom and climate resilience resource. Based at the David Yearsley River Heritage Center at Steamer Landing Park, it runs the Watershed Classroom, Green Heron Nature Camp, the Golden Eagles teen leadership program and weekly Boating at the Barn paddling sessions. It also organizes seasonal river cleanups and works on the Petaluma River Greenway and Lower Adobe Creek Vision projects.
