Friends of the North Coast is an all-volunteer group formed in 1991 whose mission is to honor and preserve the natural and cultural legacy of Santa Cruz County's North Coast, so future generations can enjoy its wildlife, clean running streams, and beaches. Much of its current work concerns the Cotoni-Coast Dairies unit of the California Coastal National Monument, where it publishes its goals, a project chronology, its preferred management alternative, and comment letters on BLM planning. The site also tracks meetings and agendas and posts news on related North Coast issues.
