Friends Of The Moshassuck

Friends of the Moshassuck is a Providence, Rhode Island group working to heal the Moshassuck River from the damage left by industrialism, and to help people understand the ecological and economic relationships of an urban river. Its projects include amphibian habitat restoration, tree planting, and monitoring of water quality and wildlife such as tadpoles and menhaden. It also publishes on the region's combined sewage overflow project and the watershed's pollution history.
