Friends Of The James River Park

Friends of James River Park is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) that acts as citizen steward of Richmond's James River Park System, supporting conservation, enhancement, and recreational enjoyment of the park while protecting its natural and historic environments. The group's work spans advocating for the park at city council and defending its conservation easement, hosting events, running education and citizen science programs, fundraising to supplement park operations, promoting the park, and coordinating volunteers.
