Friends Of The Farms

Friends of the Farms is a Bainbridge Island nonprofit founded in 2001 that works to ensure the future of local farming and build a healthier community through a resilient and equitable food ecosystem. It manages publicly owned farmland, connects farmers with landowners and affordable land, provides housing for farm interns, and advocates for the value of local farms and food. Its Share the Harvest program buys produce directly from local farms and distributes it to food banks serving families across Kitsap County.
