Friends Of The Cedarburg Bog Inc

Friends of the Cedarburg Bog is a 501(c)(3) supporting stewardship, understanding and appreciation of the Cedarburg Bog through land management, preservation, research and education, working with the Wisconsin DNR and the UW-Milwaukee Field Station in Saukville. The bog is a roughly 2,000-acre State Natural Area and National Natural Landmark, the largest and best preserved bog in eastern Wisconsin and home to the southernmost string bog on Earth. The group runs volunteer workdays for invasive species control, public and school education programs, long-term monitoring, and facility and trail improvements.
