Friends Of The Cache River Watershed

Friends of the Cache River Watershed is a not-for-profit citizens group dedicated to protecting, enhancing and sharing the Cache River Wetlands in southern Illinois, a Ramsar Wetland of International Importance. It works on habitat restoration, environmental education and community involvement alongside area landowners, public schools and partner agencies. The group runs special events, publishes a quarterly newsletter, and supports science and visitor programs in the watershed.
