Friends of Stoner Creek is a 501(c)(3) formed in 2007 to improve the Stoner Creek watershed in Bourbon County, Kentucky. The group works on drinking water quality, duckweed and other nuisance aquatic plants, recreation and tourism, wildlife preservation, and public health and safety along the creek. It is pursuing federal Clean Water Act funding to study water quality above the dam and monitor eight tributaries within the county, working with The Nature Conservancy, the Paris City Council, the Bourbon County Fiscal Court, and the state Division of Water.
