The Friends of San Diego Wildlife Refuges is a 501(c)(3) cooperating association partnering with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and California State Parks to support the national wildlife refuges of San Diego County. It supports the San Diego National Wildlife Refuge, San Diego Bay National Wildlife Refuge, Tijuana Slough National Wildlife Refuge, and Border Field State Park. Its work spans habitat restoration and endangered species conservation, public tours and educational programs, and volunteer trail maintenance and wildlife monitoring.
