Friends Of Saltwater State Park

Friends of Saltwater State Park is a volunteer group supporting Saltwater State Park in Des Moines, Washington, for the betterment of patrons and the environment. It works on marine and watershed stewardship, habitat restoration, and conservation through education, guidance, fundraising, and environmental monitoring. Projects include forest restoration, McSorley Creek biomonitoring and water quality monitoring, English ivy removal, and beach and marine park stewardship.
