Friends Of Rocky Fork State Park Tn

Friends of Rocky Fork State Park is a 501(c)(3) based in Flag Pond, Tennessee, whose stated mission is to support and assist park staff to protect, preserve, promote, and enhance Rocky Fork State Park. The group organizes volunteer workdays, hiking challenges, and trail reporting for the 2,075-acre Appalachian cove forest park in Unicoi County, which is surrounded by the Cherokee National Forest and is Tennessee's only state park directly connected to the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. It also funds park access improvements, including an all-terrain wheelchair donated through a Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation grant.
