Friends of Open Planet is the US 501(c)(3) whose identified beneficiary is Open Planet, an independent community interest company working to inspire change for the planet by democratising storytelling. Open Planet runs a free, open library of trusted, high-quality visual content and resources, launched in 2023, so that educators, communicators, and changemakers worldwide can tell factual stories about environmental problems and solutions. Donations support the library and equip storytellers to communicate about a changing world.
