Friends Of Occoneechee State Park

Friends of Occoneechee State Park is a volunteer group registered with the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation to support Occoneechee State Park in Clarksville, Virginia, its staff, and the public who use it. Members volunteer at park events and activities and act as the park's nonprofit fundraising arm for improvements that government funding does not cover. Adopted projects include the Fall Haunted Hike, Easter field games, terrace garden and amphitheater improvements, canoes for interpretive programs, and boat ramp lighting.
