Friends Of Lovers Key Inc

Friends of Lovers Key is the state-sanctioned citizen support organization for Lovers Key State Park on Florida's Gulf coast, incorporated in 1996 when the park was formed. It works with park staff and volunteers to protect the park's natural and cultural resources while expanding recreational and educational opportunities. The group raises money for beach and mangrove restoration, the park's native plant nursery, shorebird nesting protection, equipment, and a park visitor center, and runs volunteer programs and a youth summer camp.
