Friends Of Liberia Food And Water

Friends of Liberia Food and Water works to bring clean drinking water and food security to rural villages in Liberia. Started in 2016 with hand-dug wells, the organization now drills deep wells of 250 feet or more using man-powered drilling rigs, having completed over 130 wells serving more than 200,000 villagers as of July 2023. It also establishes irrigated rice farms in villages, provides tools, seed rice, fertilizer, and training, and operates a rice processing plant and a demonstration farm so growers can sell their harvests.
