Friends Of Lake Keowee Society

Friends of Lake Keowee Society (FOLKS) works to preserve, protect, and enhance Lake Keowee and its watershed in upstate South Carolina through advocacy, conservation, and education. Its programs include water quality monitoring, stream stewardship, habitat enhancement, and community cleanups. FOLKS also monitors regulatory and environmental issues affecting the lake and represents its membership in dialogue with state agencies and Duke Energy.
