Friends Of Horn Pond

Friends of Horn Pond, Inc. works to conserve the Horn Pond Conservation and Recreation Area in Woburn, Massachusetts through participatory science, volunteer service, community outreach, and education. Volunteers monitor river herring, pull invasive water chestnut from the lagoon, restore wildlife habitat, and run a Reel-In and Recycle program collecting discarded monofilament fishing line. Its Operation Woburn Wildlife campaign pushes for rodent prevention and safer controls that avoid anticoagulant rodenticides.
