Friends of Henderson County Wildlife is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) dedicated to educating the public about Henderson County, Illinois' natural resources, organized around what it calls E.C.O. goals: Education, Conservation, and Outdoorsmen Heritage. Its work includes hunter, firearm, and boating safety education, habitat restoration through tree planting, food plots, and wood duck boxes, mentoring new hunters and anglers, and youth scholarships and student ambassador roles. The group partners with public lands and private landowners, and keeps all funds raised local to Henderson County.
