Friends Of Cottage Lake

Friends of Cottage Lake is a non-profit, community-based group committed to improving and defending the health and continued enjoyment of Cottage Lake in Woodinville, Washington. Its work centers on lake water quality, including alum treatments to remove phosphorus and reduce harmful blue-green algae blooms, control of Eurasian milfoil and fragrant water lilies, and ongoing water quality monitoring. The group also pursues King County grant funding for lake improvement projects and runs community outreach such as native plant sales and local environment talks.
