Friends Of Claytor Lake Inc

Friends of Claytor Lake is a Virginia nonprofit formed in 1992 in response to woody debris building up in Claytor Lake, and works to protect the lake's environment. Its seasonal crew keeps public ramps, launch areas, shorelines, docks, main channels, and other navigation areas clear of floating woody debris. The organization also runs water quality monitoring, fish habitat restoration, community education, and events such as fishing days and lake cleanups from its office in Fairlawn.
