French and Pickering Creeks Conservation Trust has worked to preserve, steward, and connect people to the land in northern Chester County, Pennsylvania since 1967. It works collaboratively with individual landowners, local and state governments, and other conservation organizations to ensure the preservation of the French and Pickering Creeks watersheds, and reports over 13,700 acres preserved. The trust manages the Templin Woods Preserve and the Thomas P. Bentley Nature Preserve, and hosts free monthly guided hikes, nature-focused lectures, and the French Creek Iron Tour cycling event each June.
