Freeport Conservation Trust

Freeport Conservation Trust has protected more than 1,960 acres in and around Freeport, Maine since its founding in 1977, organizing its work around preservation, conservation, and connection. It maintains over 30 miles of trails open for public outdoor recreation and accepts land donations for long-term protection. Restoration is a growing part of the work, including the Cousins River Marsh Restoration Project and the removal of the Frost Gully Dam.
