Frankfort Area Land Conservancy

The Frankfort Area Land Conservancy works to preserve the natural beauty of its land, protect and enhance habitat for birds and other native wildlife, manage its containment area, and educate the community about sustainable management of the natural landscape. It maintains forest, plants native grasses to support songbirds during migration, controls invasive species, and develops walking paths and viewing areas on holdings such as the Pilgrim Preserve. The conservancy also offers education programs and on-site demonstrations of sustainable practices to the surrounding Frankfort, Michigan community.
