Fosters Pond Corporation

Foster's Pond Corporation is a nonprofit community organization dedicated to preserving and protecting Foster's Pond in Andover, Massachusetts. It was incorporated to preserve the pond, promote a sense of community among those living in its vicinity, and maintain the earthen dam that regulates water flow out of the pond. Its work includes a weed control program for the 120-acre Great Pond, carried out with the Andover Conservation Commission using education, winter drawdowns, and mechanical removal of nuisance vegetation.
