Environmental Working Group

The Environmental Working Group is a nonprofit, nonpartisan research and advocacy organization headquartered in Washington, DC, with additional offices in San Francisco and Minnesota. Since 1993 it has used research and education to spotlight outdated legislation, harmful agricultural practices, and industry loopholes that put human health and the environment at risk. Its stated mission is to empower people to live healthier lives in a healthier environment by driving consumer choice and civic action.
