Edmond Land Conservancy

Edmond Land Conservancy is a 501(c)(3) land trust working to protect the natural character of the Edmond, Oklahoma area as rapid growth fragments habitat into isolated patches. It acquires property rights through conservation easements and land donations, restores native habitat by removing invasive species, and monitors the properties it protects. Its work includes the permanently protected 100-acre Chitwood Farm Hay Meadow, the Charles D. Lamb Nature Preserve next to Hafer Park, and support for the Spring Creek Trail, with a focus on Cross Timbers ecosystems, prairie remnants, wildlife corridors, and water sources.
