Ecology Center

The Ecology Center is a Berkeley, California nonprofit working to inspire and build a sustainable, healthy, and just future for the East Bay, California, and beyond. Its programs span food and farming (including the Berkeley Farmers' Markets and the Market Match program), zero waste through mission-driven recycling and curbside collection, climate and policy work helping communities prevent and prepare for climate impacts, and youth development that engages young people in environmental justice through hands-on learning and paid work experiences. It also runs a sustainable living program offering information, education, tools, and products focused on zero waste and non-toxic systems.
