Eastern Sierra Land Trust

Eastern Sierra Land Trust is a land trust founded in 2001 that works with willing landowners to protect vital lands in the Eastern Sierra for their scenic, agricultural, natural, recreational, historical, and watershed values. It focuses on the region's working ranchlands and small family farms and on keeping wildlife habitat intact rather than fragmented by poorly planned development. Working from Bishop, California, it has conserved nearly 24,000 acres across 27 properties and runs land stewardship and community connections programs.
