Eastern Sierra Audubon Society

Eastern Sierra Audubon Society is a chapter that educates the public about local bird species and their habitats while working to preserve and protect them for future generations. It runs guided bird walks, field trips, Christmas Bird Counts, speaker events, and youth scholarships, and supports bird research. Its work covers the Eastern Sierra in Inyo and Mono Counties, California, spanning thirteen Important Bird Areas from sagebrush desert and saline lakes to pinyon-juniper woodland and alpine meadows.
