Duxbury Land Trust

Duxbury Land Trust works to conserve Duxbury's special places, protecting land from development through conservation easements with homeowners and other property owners. Over its first 30 years it conserved more than 550 acres in the town of Duxbury, Vermont, including forests, historic swimming and fishing holes, farm houses and meadows, floodplains, and farmland. Its stated goal is to conserve 750 acres by 2030, and its conserved properties include the Duxbury Town Forest and the State Farm, Cook, Clapp, and Devlin properties.
