Dunes-Calumet Audubon Society is a National Audubon Society chapter serving northwest Indiana, chiefly Porter and Lake Counties along the southern shore of Lake Michigan, a region it describes as hosting more bird species than anywhere else in Indiana. It runs guided bird walks to Important Bird Areas, monthly member meetings with educational presentations, and outreach at festivals and nature centers. Volunteer conservation work includes native plant projects, climate monitoring, and habitat protection in the Grand Calumet Area of Concern.
