Colorado West Land Trust works to protect and enhance agricultural land, wildlife habitat, and scenic lands in western Colorado to benefit the community at large. It partners with landowners on conservation easements and runs farmland preservation, river and habitat restoration, and outdoor recreation access projects. Its service area stretches from the Grand Valley to Red Mountain Pass and from the La Sal Mountains to Blue Mesa Reservoir, with more than 144,000 acres conserved.
