Citizens Committee To Complete The Refuge

Citizens Committee to Complete the Refuge is an all-volunteer group that has been protecting baylands in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1965, and it was instrumental in the establishment of the San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge. It works to protect the Refuge and potential Refuge lands from development and other threats, and to promote the recovery of tidal wetlands and the diverse ecosystems of San Francisco Bay. Its methods are advocacy, collaboration with partners, education of the public and decision-makers, and litigation when necessary, focused on the Don Edwards San Francisco Bay National Wildlife Refuge expansion boundary and other areas of the Bay.
