Cimarron Valley&River Coalition

The Cimarron Valley and River Watershed Coalition is a community-based group working in the Cimarron River and Blue Creek drainage in western Colorado. Its stated mission is to provide education, financial resources, communication and project implementation for improving and protecting water quality, water conservation, water use, instream flows and fisheries in the Cimarron River and its tributaries, while ensuring the long-term sustainability of the watershed's agricultural community. The site publishes watershed assessment reports, stakeholder questionnaires and membership information, and convenes meetings open to residents, landowners and agency partners.
