The Christina Conservancy is a grassroots nonprofit in Wilmington, Delaware working to promote the preservation, restoration, and appreciation of the historic and natural resources of the Christina River watershed. It organizes the annual Christina River Watershed Cleanup, runs the Edward W. Cooch, Jr. Environmental Scholarship, and provides financial support, advocacy, communication, education, and leadership alongside state and local agencies, other nonprofits, businesses, and residents. Its advocacy covers water quality, wetlands, invasive species, and forest conservation in a watershed the group says supplies 75 percent of the public water supply for New Castle County.
