Chesapeake Wildlife Heritage Inc

Chesapeake Wildlife Heritage designs, builds, and manages wildlife habitat on Maryland's Eastern Shore to improve wildlife populations and the health of the Chesapeake Bay. Working with public and private landowners, it restores wetlands, establishes native warm-season grass meadows and forested buffers, plants trees, and installs nesting structures for species such as bluebirds, purple martins, and ospreys. It also runs a sustainable agriculture program that integrates habitat into working farmland, plus backyard habitat guidance and environmental education.
