Chesapeake Audubon Society

Chesapeake Audubon Society works in Maryland to promote the stewardship of natural ecosystems through conservation, restoration, education, and advocacy. It manages three wildlife sanctuaries, including the 400-acre Pickering Creek Audubon Center, which is open to the public and reaches over 14,000 students a year with environmental education. The society runs hikes and educational events year-round across Baltimore, Annapolis, and the Eastern Shore, and promotes native and bird-friendly gardening.
