Cape Fear River Watch works to protect and improve the water quality of the Cape Fear River Basin for all people through education, advocacy, and action, and it is the home of the Cape Fear Riverkeeper. Based in Wilmington, North Carolina, it runs the CreekWatchers volunteer water quality monitoring program, eco-tours and paddle series, community cleanups, and advocacy on issues such as PFAS contamination and coal ash. Local restoration and monitoring work includes Burnt Mill Creek and Greenfield Lake.
