Bronx River-Sound Shore Audubon Society is a National Audubon Society chapter founded in 1947, serving over 700 members across lower Westchester County, New York, including Bronxville, Eastchester, Larchmont, Mamaroneck, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Pelham, Scarsdale and Tuckahoe. The chapter runs bird walks and field trips, an Eastern Bluebird nestbox monitoring and research project, and youth programs including school bird education and mentoring for student researchers. It also plants and maintains native plant and pollinator gardens at community sites and takes part in local conservation advocacy.
