The Brandywine Conservancy works to protect and conserve the land, water, natural, and cultural resources of the Brandywine-Christina watershed, on the premise that a healthy and secure natural environment is essential for present and future generations. It holds conservation easements with landowners, provides planning resources and toolkits to municipalities, and manages preserves and trails including The Laurels in Unionville and Waterloo Mills in Devon. The Conservancy is one half of the Brandywine Conservancy and Museum of Art, headquartered in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, alongside the Brandywine River Museum of Art.
