Birdsong Gardens Inc

Birdsong Gardens is a nonprofit environmental research facility on a 20 acre working farm in southeast Sussex County, Delaware, dedicated to restoring the former grandeur of the Delaware Estuary by researching, preserving and restoring lost buffers, habitat and water quality. It maintains five acres of milkweed as monarch butterfly habitat and runs a Delaware Estuary water clarity project that uses duckweed to absorb excess nitrates and phosphates while working to re-establish native freshwater mussels as natural filter feeders.
