Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge Society

The Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge Society is the primary partner and Friends group of Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge in Virginia Beach, Virginia. It supports the refuge through advocacy, outreach, education, fundraising, and volunteer projects, and charges no membership dues, relying on donations to fund its work. Volunteer programs include sea turtle nest monitoring, pollinator and monarch garden maintenance, photo-based citizen science, and stewardship of the refuge's trail system.
