American Aquifers

American Aquifers works to protect and promote sustainable groundwater use through research, community outreach, and by educating, assisting, and advocating for those whose quality of life depends on groundwater. It runs scientific research and data collection to better understand groundwater systems, outreach that connects groundwater-dependent communities with resources, and advocacy at local, regional, and national levels. It also provides financial and practical help to families and farmers struggling with groundwater shortages.
