Albemarle Resource Conservation And Development Council

The Albemarle Resource Conservation and Development Council, based in Edenton, North Carolina, assists local governments and community groups in northeast North Carolina with projects that protect land and water resources while promoting economic development. It provides technical assistance, planning support, project management, grantwriting, and educational outreach in areas such as watershed management, shoreline stabilization, and parks design. Founded in 1972, it serves ten counties from Camden to Washington and reports completing over 500 projects.
